Remember last November when we were so excited about all these new barbers coming in from out of state to fill the ranks of the Gaard? Turns out the logistics of moving and getting set up professionally half way across the country took a bit, but we are now on the verge of some big changes and big expansions.
But now our reputation for being endlessly booked out is blessedly going to take a bit of a hit, because once summer arrives, we’re going to be able to accommodate almost double the number of clients we can now. We know, we can hardly believe it either!
Here’s the plan, friends.
In mere weeks, on March 14th, Vince from Texas, now internally dubbed Hambone for some reason, will arrive and fill our last chair.
The first week of May we will add Nick, long dubbed Barber Dutch, from California.

Vince’s arrival will also mark us going back to having two Long-Range barbers with schedules open for three months out, one Short Order barber open for one month out, and one Walk-In barber each and every day.
Then in June we’re getting Alex in from Minnesota to complete the ranks, as well as extending our hours for even more “after work” availability.
When Alex arrives to make the staff full to bursting, we will also have a little rotation happening on which barber is which each day, so everyone, even the noobs, will have some appointment availability.
Stay tuned, Gaard, it’s about to get really, really good.
