Every day there are all sorts of haircuts walking out of our doors, some simple everyday cuts, and some a bit more dapper, and some where our clients let us pull out all the stops. For those who want to know what we REALLY do here.
The Cut: Arthur Shelby
The Barber: Natalie
The Story:
With each new period drama that comes on the air comes an array of new haircut requests. But the great thing about these “latest trends” is that that they are almost a century from what one would consider “new.”
These are rough cuts with aggressively short sides, meant to be worn with either no product and under a hat, or greased up good, preferably with an old school oil-based pomade. They are easy as hell to wear, but require relatively frequent barber visits.
This fine chap walked in knowing what he wanted. Arthur Shelby from Peaky Blinders. Natalie was immediately stoked, because she had been loving Paul Anderson’s look on the show. This is “don’t give a fuck” hair, because Arthur Shelby absolutely does not.
We did make a modern concession in doing a quick, rough blend as opposed to the hard line, but for a thick, dense head of hair that you just want to rake back with some goo for days on end? This is the cut.
Good afternoon!
I recently got the “Arthur Shelby” cut and I was wondering what products you recommend for styling?
My hair is fairly thick with a very slight wave.
I prefer men’s products or unisex to fruity women’s styling tools.
Any good suggestions?
Thank you!
(PS I love your site!)

Absolutely love this hairstyle could you please tell me what styling product was used to finish this style off? Any tips for this hairstyle would be greatly appreciated.
