Every day there are all sorts of haircuts walking out of our doors, some simple everyday cuts, and some a bit more dapper, and some where our clients let us pull out all the stops. For those who want to know what we REALLY do here.
The Service: Viking Flat Top
The Barber: Tyler
The Story:
Brad has come a long way since his first visit to Beardsgaard. He started with a long Viking mane, but with the intent of lopping off the tail and donating it to Locks of Love.
He seems to have heartily embraced feeling the wind on his scalp, and has moved on from the simple yet classic contour to something a bit more aggressive. His beard has gotten bigger too.
This visit he wanted to go shorter. Problem is, with his lightweight puff of hair if you don’t leave some weight to it, it pops straight up. Because hair of that type does not have much of a length middle ground, he and Beardsmith decided to just go with it.
A bit quiff, a bit flat top, with a long, full and slightly wavy beard. Hair was blow dried and styled with a little dab of Reuzel Pomade, beard with Merlin’s Beard Balm – the Odin variety, of course.
A lot of fantastic cuts walk out of this shop, but most of the time we are on to the next client before we have a chance to take photos.
So, to actually capture these great styles (with decent lighting), we have started a roster of hair models. None are “models” for sure (although some have been a curiously Pavlovian effect on our lady followers), these Zoolanders are pulled from our existing clients.
