Every day there are all sorts of haircuts walking out of our doors, some simple everyday cuts, and some a bit more dapper, and some where our clients let us pull out all the stops. For those who want to know what we REALLY do here.
The Service: Undercover Wolverine
The Barber: Natalie
The Story:
As we tell bald headed/faced fellows who are woeful about their lack of follicles, it’s rare to get greatness all over your head, and that’s okay. Gil here is one of those rare bastards with a glorious head of hair and, over the winter at least, a massive, enviable beard.
The beard shed its winter weight recently (which is just fine with us, beards are a renewable resource and as the seasons change, it’s okay to change with them), and turned into a svelte summer version of its former burly self.
The haircut is a simple, classic Executive Contour, about as perfect a men’s haircut as there ever was, styled with Reuzel pink Heavy Hold Grease.
His once hefty beard in its shorter reaches revealed a little cutout detail. Plenty of men have those little bare areas next to the mustache area, and most think they are a hinderance to beards. Not at all. If anything, it adds a little visual interest and simplifies lining.
A lot of fantastic cuts walk out of this shop, but most of the time we are on to the next client before we have a chance to take photos.
So, to actually capture these great styles (with decent lighting), we have started a roster of hair models. None are “models” for sure (although some have been a curiously Pavlovian effect on our lady followers), these Zoolanders are pulled from our existing clients.
