Every day there are all sorts of haircuts walking out of our doors, some simple everyday cuts, and some a bit more dapper, and some where our clients let us pull out all the stops. For those who want to know what we REALLY do here.
The Service: Punk Holly
The Barber: Tyler
The Story:
This one might as well be from the Wayback Machine.
His style is a mix of 50s and 80s, we first met him when he, his lovely wife, and squishy little Winston Churchill baby stopped by while we were still doing buildout, and this photo was taken in our first few months of operation.
We still weren’t very good with the new camera yet, there were a lot of darker hours in a workday, and we didn’t have photo lights, so while the photo is not our favorite ever, he has one of our favorite looks.
The haircut is a naturally wavy version of Brad Pitt’s Basterd haircut, blended out and back in again on the substantial chops. Rough and purposely imperfect, this is the perfect combination of clean cut and don’t give a fuck. Styled with green Reuzel Grease.
A lot of fantastic cuts walk out of this shop, but most of the time we are on to the next client before we have a chance to take photos.
So, to actually capture these great styles (with decent lighting), we have started a roster of hair models. None are “models” for sure (although some have been a curiously Pavlovian effect on our lady followers), these Zoolanders are pulled from our existing clients.
