Our Heroes for Mason event is over, and we are proud to announce that we raised over $1,500 toward Mason’s medical costs, and even more was contributed to the family’s Go Fund Me page (which you can still do!)
some of them even brought plastic fire hats
Between the food and games, raffle tickets, and a lot of money raised to see one of our employees get a pie to the face (read to the end of the post to see which one), it was amazing to see the whole town come out to help.
This was our first real event we have held since our Grand Opening Party, and man were we glad this was the kick off to many more to come.
Check out the gallery below to see where the weekend Batavia Pikachu sightings were coming from, the barbers from outside Beardsgaard who soared in to help out, the raffle fun, the herd of real heroes, and all the adorable little moppets.
We want to thank all of folks who donated raffle items, their barber hands, game makings, food and more: Brian Busch, Matt Dakan, Greg Hill, Mike Law, Patrick Deering, Lori Hernandez, Jason Fein, Samantha Bosse, Rachel McKillip, Rachel Schramm, Gina Pichi, Rocket Fizz, Country House, Gammon Coach House, Fab of Punch Barber Shop, new apprentice Jesus, Amanda’s whole family, James Cardis (most of the above photos are his), All Dressed Up Costumes, everyone who came out, everyone who bought raffle tickets, everyone who shared, this town is the best.
Now, as promised, face pie. And if you still want to contribute to the cause, you can, right here.
