Hello again Gaardians!
You may have noticed in searching to book an appointment online that we look as if we are functionally full up (short of a couple of scattered 10 minute slots, cancellations and Walken Wednesdays*) through December 29th.
A delightful representation in form of an original Eagle Drawring
DECEMBER 29th. What is that. We can’t even. Flabbergasted are we.
We mean yes, people like our haircuts and stuff, but the biggest reason we’re so full is just math: 3 barbers, 6 hands, over 4000 clients through our doors in the last 14 months, scores of them regulars. We are both indescribably grateful and so, so sorry.
But if you were thinking you couldn’t get in before Christmas, you were happily mistaken! Read on for all the good news and the shop schedule all the way up through February…
Man in Black on a White Horse
Having a barber who is also a touring musician means we can’t book Erik out quite as far as the Beardsgaards, only up to his confirmed show schedules. Because if a tour gets scheduled we can’t even cancel his book, there’s nowhere to reschedule anybody.
But on the flip side, when all else books up and all seems lost, in rides Zodiac to the rescue with a flood of December availability. As of now, we have some wide open swaths of book in December (although Beardsmith and Blademaiden are full up). Until…
The Beardsgaards Take a Beat
January! The Beardsgaards have finally listened to everyone’s urging to take a vacation for the first time in their relationship. Or the last nearly 15 years. So yes, it’s time.
Jamaica 2002, the last time Blademaiden took a vacation. Perhaps this time we will also meet nice feral kittens.
Because Erik and No Zodiac will be on tour for the entirety of January and part of February, we thought a week in January would be an excellent time to close up shop for a minute. Therefore, we will be closed for a whole week January 12th through the 16th, but the rest of the month is now officially open for scheduling.
Holiday Happenings
That’s a lot of dates scattered about there, and more we haven’t even mentioned yet. For the next few months we have a few closed days, closed early days, tour dates, dates Natalie and Tyler’s availability will be opened up for future months, one notable closed Walken Wednesday*, and the long-awaited shave classes (tickets now available for sale)! Mark your calendars folks, these are the pertinents.
*Walken Wednesdays are no more as of November 2016, because we now have daily walk-ins!
