We like to celebrate the successes around the shop.

We are a small business that kind of exploded into a much bigger thing. There are in fact two businesses now, Beardsgaard Barbers and River Peak Apothecary. Neither would have gotten started in the first place if Beardsmith and Blademaiden weren’t primarily the workers, because getting the doors open was priority #1, we had barely thought about hiring until we were well open and it became necessary.
Beardsmith is a barber powerhouse on the floor, and cares for the physical needs of the shop while Blademaiden is usually hermited away spinning out webs of spreadsheets, writing and the fruits of the Adobe Creative Suite.
But doing all that as hard as is required makes it a bit difficult to keep on top of the billion day-to-day threads that are required to keep a busy operation with 12 employees running smoothly (HR and inventory much?).
It was always going to become necessary to bring on someone that isn’t one of us to handle the important day-to-day business operations, and finding that exact right person is not an easy feat. But we found that person in Vinc.
And when we promoted him to manager, we thought we would buy him a new outfit in which to perform his important managerial duties. Let us present…Managersaurus Vinc.
