Hail Beardsgaardians! This is your call to arms.
Well, not so much “arms” as “legs” to walk through our front door and take part in all of the awesomeness!
Hands will be required too, for the eating of food and if you hands are much bigger, drinking of beer. Image Credit: Roberta Rae Photography
Our little mom & pop barbershop has been open a mere seven weeks and it been an adventure, a privilege and an absolute pleasure getting to know all of you: both those who have walked through the doors because a friend or family member told you to check us out, or supported us on all of the Internets (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
So, we would like to celebrate you and this wonderful city of Batavia in style.
This Saturday, October 25th,, we’re doing it up proper.
There will be delicious food from The River’s Edge. There will be phenomenal beer from Penrose Brewing Company. There will be cupcakes (that’s right…you see what I said, CUPCAKES) from The Sugar Path. And to top it all off, we will have the musical stylings of The River Valley Rangers, in addition to several other very talented artists.

We realize that Batfest is also running that day, but you’re in luck! Our shindig doesn’t even start until 5 PM (going until about 11), so feel free to (and please do!) wander over after those festivities wrap up.
And you don’t need to have sat in either of our chair to attend. This is an open call to all. We want to meet you! We love it here and want to celebrate that fact with each and every one of you. Also, it will just be a fun place to be Saturday night.
Want to get all of the details and RSVP? We have the event posted HERE on Facebook, but feel free to send us an email as well!
For those of you that HAVE gotten your hair cut with us, or have been kind enough to write up a review or post a rating on Facebook or our website, we would be ever in your debt if you could do the same for us on Yelp! We are so touched by all of your kind words, but Yelp is where potential Beardsgaardians really get see them. So if you’re a Yelper, please give us a shout!
That said, we do so hope to see you this Saturday!
And with dreams of a fantastic party dancing in our heads, we give you this. Make sure you get to the banjo dancing bit. Perhaps we can all recreate that part, complete with pointed hip thrusts and uncomfortable eye contact. As we do.
Man, Mumford & Sons is self-aware in a glorious way.
