The Faces of Beardsgaard • Strongfell

Beardsgaard may be a barbershop in Batavia here in the mortal plane, but it is also a fantasy world. In that world is an apothecary, River Peak Apothecary, that makes magic potions scented by the seasons, their scents evoking the places you will find all over the Realm. Here in Batavia, the people behind both brands are one and the same.

From our wintertime shave line, we bring you Strongfell, set on the frozen eastern coast of Jotunheim behind the Wall of Winds, where the Giants dwell.

When your models are a client and an old pal from high school and they get in character so much they start having dreams of cannibalism before the shoot, you know it's gonna turn out great. With real swords, dangerously icy endless stairs into watery canyons flanked by two story ice falls, and deep ass snowdrifts covering it all, this photo shoot would have been epic even without people in it, this is one of our very favorite locations in these parts.
