National Beard & Moustache Championships 2019

In 2019, Beardsgaard had been trucking away for 5 years and making a name for ourselves out there in the world, when we got a mysterious phone call from Beard Team USA.

It seems we Gaardians were being tapped to be part of the National Beard and Moustache Championships that year, being held in Chicagoland. After we picked our jaws up off the floor, we were off to the races on preparation. What an absolutely insane honor.

And so we went, Beardsmith as a judge for some big rounds of competition, Blademaiden manning the Remington/Beardsgaard barber booth, other members of the team running the River Peak Apothecary booth, and if it weren't for the pictures, we would hardly have been able to encode it all into memory.

The size, shapes and scale of the beards at this event are only surpassed by the World Beard & Moustache Championships. It literally does not get bigger than this, and we were honored to be part of it, including some of our own staff and clients gracing the stage.

Endless thanks to the Beard Team USA organizers, all the competitors and organizers that put so much blood, sweat, tears and joy into the NBMC 2019.
