The Realm of Beardsgaard is a deep rabbit hole indeed. What started as a little family barbershop spun off to a product line and whole mythological world, built out of the building blocks of our world, from Tolkien to Norse mythology, to D&D and all of the other fantasy we know of. Which is, frankly, a lot for people who can never remember where their keys are.

In this video, Blademaiden tells the tale of how the story came together, and highlights a whole bunch of deep canon easter eggs, for those who are into such things. We see you.

2026 Update: The shop games got much more extensive, and Blademaiden not only DID start playing D&D, she's now getting her DMing sea legs. We are taking a break from filmed games while we gather some new skills, but hope to be back with a brand new format in the future.
