Way back on September 9th of 2014, Beardsgaard Barbers opened our doors to our very first clients. Then we blinked, and it was a year later, opening our second business, our River Peak Apothecary product line. One more blink it's 9 years later.

It's hard to believe these nerdy little businesses here in the Middle West are still going strong after a whole decade. It's entirely thanks to the incredible community here in Batavia, and the crew of talented, passionate and dedicated barbers and shopkeeps that have built this place with us into a destination of legend.

THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY BIRTHDAY BASH!

We haven't had a party here in some time, and if any occasion calls for it, it's this one. And if there's an occasion to dress to the nines, like, throw on your best suit, or a ball gown you have, your full Ren Faire garb or even that Stormtrooper getup, this is the party to wear it to.

The shop will be closed for the day on Saturday, September 7th to host Beardsgaard's 10th anniversary party from 3-7 PM!

Raffle

We're also putting together a heck of a raffle giveaway for the event! With three magical sets of potions, products and merch, one for Beard, Shave and Body each worth over $200, winners will be bringing home some amazing loot.

Tickets will be sold in shop in the week before the party, and at the event until 5:30 PM, with winners chosen at 6.

  • 5 tickets for $10
  • 10 tickets for $20

Because our shop has two business anniversaries to celebrate, we thought we would bring together two favorite local breweries, Brother Chimp Brewing and Sturdy Shelter Brewing to serve up their respective 2024 World Beer Cup award winners, as well as specialty mocktails for the non drinkers.

So long as we're celebrating, reminiscing, and looking toward the future, we have invited local queer community organizer, friend of the shop, and all around rainbow human Annie Hex to set up space at the event for her incredible tarot readings.

We do hope you'll be able to join us.
